Chapter Five

Plan Your Visit

Both boats run out of N9580 E Solberg Lake Rd in Phillips. You can have one delivered to your lake for a flat $80, or come get it from us. Your rental agreement and waiver are emailed to you when you book and signed online. The only paper left is our insurer's safety checklist, signed at the dock by everyone riding.

Season: Aug 1 – Oct 15, 2026

A family spending a golden-hour evening on a pontoon boat on a quiet Northwoods lake.

Getting the Boat

Two ways to start the day.

Option One

We bring it to you.

$80 flat rate, covering delivery and pickup

Like the boat rates, this is before tax. Wisconsin sales tax of 5.5% is added at checkout.

  • 02

Monday through Thursday, delivery may not be available until after 4:00 p.m.

  • 04

We collect the boat at the end of your rental window: 5:00 p.m. after a pontoon full day, 1:00 p.m. after a pontoon morning half day, 6:00 p.m. after a pontoon afternoon half day, 12:30 p.m. after a Ranger morning, 8:30 p.m. after a Ranger afternoon.

  • 05

Additional delivery areas include Park Falls, Prentice, and Butternut. Other locations are subject to approval.

Text or call 715-564-4355 with the lake you're staying on and we'll confirm we can get there.

Option Two

You come get it.

N9580 E Solberg Lake Rd
Phillips, WI 54555

No delivery fee

  • 01

Come fifteen to twenty minutes before your window.

  • 02

Every rental starts with a driver orientation and a run through the Wisconsin boating rules. Everyone riding signs our insurer's safety checklist at the end of it. You leave with the Wisconsin Boater Regulations Handbook.

  • 03

Bring the pontoon back with a full tank. The Ranger comes back at the level it left.

Before You Come

What to bring.

Short list. We can't put a boat in the water without these, whether we're delivering or you're picking up.

  • 01

    A valid driver's license

The renter has to be 21 or older.

  • 02

A credit card for the deposit

The security deposit is a 100% hold on the card on file.

  • 03

    Wisconsin Boating Safety Certificate

Required for any operator born on or after January 1, 1989. Bring it for everyone who plans to drive.

One thing to plan around. The boats can't be run from dusk to dawn. That comes from our marine insurer and we can't bend it, so build the day around daylight.

Common Questions

A few things people always ask.

What dates can we book? +

August 1 through October 15, 2026. That is our first season, and the calendar is open for those dates now. Pick your boat and your day and you're set.

How late can we stay out? +

Until dusk. The boats may not be operated from dusk to dawn, which is a requirement from our marine insurer and is not something we can waive. If we delivered the boat, we collect it at the end of your rental window, which is 8:30 p.m. if you took the Ranger afternoon.

Do I need any experience driving a pontoon? +

No. Every rental starts with a driver orientation and a walk through the Wisconsin boating rules, and we take the time you need. If this would be your first time on a pontoon, tell us when you book so we can plan for a longer run-through. Anyone born on or after January 1, 1989 does need a Wisconsin Boating Safety Certificate to operate the boat.

Can I bring my dog? +

Yes, well-mannered dogs are welcome on the pontoon. You're responsible for any pet-related cleaning or damage. Cleaning beyond the usual starts at $100, so give us a heads-up and we'll put down an extra towel.

What happens if it rains? +

Light rain is fine. The canopy keeps you covered. If it turns into strong wind, lightning, or fog you can't see the next shoreline through, call us and we'll work out a new day. We'd rather lose the rental than the boat, or you.

Is there a place to dock and grab lunch? +

A few. On Long Lake, Harbor View (east end) or Sandtrap Bar and Grill at Westwood Golf Course (west end). On Wilson, the Flyway resort (southwest end). On Solberg, Sunset Bay or the Polish Palace (both on the northeast side). Elk and Duroy don't have spots like that. They're stumpy, weedy fishing lakes, not cruising water.

Can we tow a tube or water-ski? +

We don't provide tubes, and nothing may be towed behind the boats unless we approve it in advance. Ask us before you book if that's part of your plan.

Do you do weddings, birthdays, or events? +

Yes. The pontoon seats 15, with a maximum weight capacity of 2,630 lbs. Whoever is driving needs to stay sober. Operating a boat under the influence is illegal in Wisconsin, and we will end a rental over it without a refund. Call, text, or email and tell us what you have in mind.

Ready When You Are

Pick your boat and your day.

You choose your time and pay in the calendar, and your rental agreement and waiver arrive by email to sign. If you want the boat delivered, choose it in the calendar and tell us the lake and landing you want to meet at.
